K VIII (ex Kriter VIII)

In 1978, Michel Malinovsky inspired thousands of enthusiasts with his Monohull, the « KRITER V » and his fabulous battle against Mike Birch. For the 2nd Route du Rhum Race in 1982, he set sail again aboard the « KRITER VIII » and won the race in the monohull category, thus continuing the legendary saga of the «KRITER » boat. Thanks to skipper Wilfrid Clerton, the great 23 m yacht set off yet again under the colours of « Cap au Cap Location » for the 10th Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe race. This fantastic transatlantic crossing resulted in a 4th place in the Rhum race and 3rd place in the Rhum Monohull category.
